Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope that everyone has managed to have some time relaxing with your children over the school break. Like all of you, it was with great disappointment that we heard the news of another lockdown in Melbourne and what this may mean for schools. With Stage 3 Restrictions in place for Metropolitan Melbourne, the Education Department has advised that there will be an extra week of school holidays next week and the return date for students is now Monday 20th July. Next week schools will be preparing for remote learning although there has been no definite announcement about this as yet. We will notify families of arrangements as soon as possible after more detail is available. If we do go into remote learning, devices will again be made available and there will be supervision available for children of essential workers.
We hope our CSPS community members are safe and well and it is very important that we remain that way. We are acutely aware that this is an extremely difficult time for families and, as always, we will endeavour to be as supportive as possible. Please take care of yourselves and your families.
